Values and Motivations
Belongers
65% of Belongers live in the Midwest and 60% work at "blue-collar" jobs. They are middle-class America with strong conservative and traditional beliefs. They embrace the good old fashioned values of hard work, family, patriotism and high morals.
Emulators
Emulators are best described as ambitious, competitive, ostentatious and very hard working in their efforts to be a success. They have a strong need to look the part of their perception of a successful person. They tend to over play the role by way of trendy fashion, conspicuous consumption and spending. They see upcoming movers and shakers.
Achievers
About 50% of Achievers live in the suburbs, and 87% own their own homes. 20% are self-employed and the remainder holding primarily managerialor administrative positions. They are best described as driving and driven, gifted, self-reliant and successful.
Societals
A Societal holds positions of importance and influence in both their professions and community. They are the most formally educated of any buyer motive lifestyle and join a system so as to put themselves in a viable position to have impact or create change.
